Tracking System

The group has been involved since 2006 in a programme of technical evaluation of its Tracking System initiated by the Japanese Racing Authority (JRA), latterly through a joint evaluation programme sponsored by JRA but conducted by IBM-Japan. The TurfTrax System was selected and was then subjected to a test programme lasting some 16 months, and was successfully completed in August 2007 when IBM-Japan issued their formal report to JRA.

The group has recently received initial approaches from a number of sources in relation to alternative uses of the tracking technology both in other areas of sport and in industrial and commercial areas. The Group is looking to potential partnership deals as the means of securing value in the further explorations of the groups IP. It is therefore the strategy of this subsidiary to seek and implement such partnership deals on appropriate terms.
